Delivery Policy

Last updated: 08.06.2026

This policy explains how and when we deliver your Flavour Theory order. By placing an order you agree to the terms below. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.

Where we deliver

We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland / Highlands & Islands — confirm). If you'd like to order from outside the UK, email [hello@flavourtheory.co.uk] before ordering and we'll let you know if we can help and what it would cost.

Made to order — please allow 5–10 working days

Everything we sell is blended in small batches to order — including the custom blends you design in The Lab — so we don't dispatch from a warehouse of pre-made stock. Please allow 5–10 working days from placing your order to receiving it. This covers blending, weighing, labelling, quality checks and delivery transit. Most orders arrive within this window; at busy periods (e.g. holidays or new launches) it may occasionally take a little longer, and we'll let you know if so.

"Working days" means Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays. Orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are treated as received on the next working day.

Delivery options and cost

Service Estimated transit Cost
Standard UK delivery 2–4 working days after dispatch £3.95
Free standard delivery on orders over £35 Free
Tracked / express — optional 1–2 working days after dispatch £5.95

The exact delivery cost is always shown at checkout before you pay. Remember the 5–10 working day total includes the time to make your blends, not just transit.

Couriers and tracking

We send orders via Royal Mail / Evri / DPD. Once your order is dispatched you'll receive a dispatch confirmation email with a tracking link so you can follow it to your door.

Delivery address

Please make sure your delivery address is correct and complete at checkout. We can't be responsible for orders delayed or lost because of an incorrect or incomplete address. If you spot a mistake, contact us as soon as possible — we can usually update it before dispatch, but not always once a made-to-order item has gone into production.

Delays

Very occasionally deliveries are delayed by events outside our control (weather, courier disruption, strikes, etc.). We'll do everything we reasonably can to keep you updated, but we can't be held liable for delays caused by the courier or circumstances beyond our control.

Missing, late or damaged parcels

  • Tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it: please check with neighbours and any safe place, then contact us within 14 days.
  • Parcel hasn't arrived: if your order hasn't arrived within 14 working days of dispatch, get in touch and we'll investigate with the courier.
  • Damaged in transit: email hello@flavourtheory.co.uk with your order number and a photo within 48 hours / 14 days of delivery and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

Failed deliveries / returned parcels

If a parcel is returned to us because it couldn't be delivered (e.g. nobody available after the courier's attempts, or an incorrect address), we'll contact you to arrange redelivery. A further delivery charge may apply.

Multiple items

If you order several items they'll usually be sent together. If part of your order is delayed we may dispatch in more than one parcel at no extra cost to you.
